Born in Michigan's U.P., I attended Central Michigan University where I ultimately earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy and Political Science. Fire Up Chips! I then spent the next three years working as the environmental coordinator for an automotive manufacturer in Mt. Pleasant, MI. In May (2015) my husband and I relocated to Green Bay with our rescue-babies, Bosco (Beagle/Springer mix), Athena and Vesta (cats).
Growing up, I was constantly in trouble for reading, mainly because I was always doing so, often in class, or when I had been told to do something else. To this day it is rare that I'm not in the middle of at least one book, usually a few at a time. I am open to giving just about anything a try, though my go-to genres are historical sci-fi/fantasy and horror, both adult and YA titles. I also love non-fiction humor. I tend to form unhealthy emotional attachments to characters, which draws me to series, as one story often just isn't enough! Some of my favorite authors include Anne Rice, Mercedes Lackey, Stephen King, Libba Bray, J.K. Rowling, and David Sedaris.
