Our Used Book Buying Policy
The Reader's Loft is happy to consider a wide rage of titles to purchase from our customers. Because of this, it is easier to say what we do not accept. We encourage everyone to go through their collections according to the following before bringing them in.

We also reserve the right to turn away any book according to the amount of space we have available in the store and or condition.
Quality and Condition
We accept all types of bindings; Mass Market Paperback, Trade Paperback and Hardcover. All books must be in Very Good or better condition according to Used Book Industry standards. All hardcovers must have a dust jacket, unless published prior to 1905.
What We Pay
We are currently only purchasing used books for store credit. Mass Market paperbacks get 50ยข per book. Trade paperback and hardcover copies receive 25% of what we can resell them at. We take care to double check their value on the national market before we price them, and offer your payment according to that value, whether it is lower than the original list price OR higher. We will consider purchasing books for cash if you have something highly collectible.
