Review:

When trying to describe Of Bees and Mist to a friend the only words I could come up with were, "you need to read it." Thus, you have been pre-warned, this is the best I could do to describe this indescribable novel:

Meridia grew up in a household full of tension, forgetfulness, and lost love. Lonely, one day while wandering through the market she meets Daniel and they quickly fall in love. As their relationship turns into a lifetime they are forced to deal with the shadowy secrets of Meridia's family (as well as they soon find out Daniel's family) which forces their relationship, their sanity, and their core beliefs to the brink.

This novel has a magical quality which adds immensely to the storyline. It explores the fluidity of relationships and how people change overtime. Grabbing you from the very beginning Setiawan weaves a tale that is different than any other.

Trust me, read it.
