Review:

Carolina Fantoni is going blind. Slowly but surely, from the outside in, she can see less of her lake every day. She is getting married, and the only person who knows about her problem, is not her fiancé. It is Turri, the slightly eccentric, yet very charming, inventor. Her whirlwind romance with her fiancé was not nearly as thrilling as she expected and now she finds herself stuck with him. As her vision slowly disappears, her relationship with her husband worsens, and her romance with Turri grows stronger.

Throughout this quaint novel, Carolina is faced with many decisions. The outcome, although sad, is perfect. Sadness laced with meaning and happiness. This is a beautiful little novel, which I would recommend for anyone looking for a light yet meaningful novel.
